Arkansas Medicare Plans

The only time you can receive guaranteed coverage through Medicare Supplements (also called Medigap) is during your open enrollment period. Your open enrollment period is during the first six months your Part B coverage is in effect. During this window, you can enroll in an Arkansas Medigap plan with any pre-existing health condition. 

You can still enroll at any time after open enrollment, but you will have to answer some health questions.

After the end of 2019, new Medicare enrollees will no longer be able to select Medigap Plans C or F in Arkansas. Beneficiaries who already have these plans will be able to keep them.

There are 10 standardized Medigap plans to choose from in Arkansas. Because they cover your deductibles, your coinsurance, and copays, it’s worth getting a quote from a licensed Medicare agent. All supplements have standardized care, so the only difference will be price.
